Why MIYAN?

"Miyan" means "between" and describes the space in which this journal works: between origin and future, personal experience and political reality, as well as local and global developments.

MIYAN is aimed at an international and multilingual audience, as well as all readers interested in nuanced perspectives. The journal connects current news with context, analysis, essays, and personal columns.

Our Topics

The focus is on politics, society, economy, technology and artificial intelligence, health, and culture. "Between the Lines" also offers space for columns, essays, and personal observations.

Multilingual by Design

MIYAN will be published gradually in German, Persian, English, and French. Translations aim to make content accessible without losing its cultural and linguistic context.
